Alexander Ben-Israel, Executive Director
Prior to the Stafford, Ben-Israel worked
for local and national senior housing companies as Regional Director,
Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. He has over 15 years of
senior hospitality/senior housing experience. Ben-Israel has degrees in
both Business Administration (MBA George Fox University, Newberg OR) and
Registered Nursing (SanAk-University of Munich, Germany).
Elizabeth Conrad, Director of Sales & Marketing
I have lived all of my life in the Great Pacific Northwest! I attended the University of Oregon, playing on the Women's Golf Team. I started playing tournament golf in the Oregon, Washington and Canadian Juniors, touring during the summers of my childhood. My home course was the Tacoma Country & Golf Club. I am a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club, Sustaining member of the Junior League of Portland, and alumna Pi Beta Phi Sorority.
I am a dog lover extraordinaire! Presently I have two Chihuahuas gracing my life: Mayzie and Mousie Pants. I have two brothers, one living in Lake Oswego, the other in Montana. My dear parents have left this world.
I very much enjoy The Stafford's residents and their families. The Stafford will become a new family. We will share our talents, humor, life's sweet moments and challenges. We will serve each other, work and play together.

It is my privilege to join the Stafford team as the Director of Health Services.
I obtained my degree in Nursing from the Henry Ford School of Nursing. I bring to the Stafford over 25 years of experience in a variety of medical settings. I take great pleasure in working with the elder population and for me it has proven to be the most rewarding field of my nursing profession. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to deliver care with a truly personal touch. I will strive to treat each individual with respect and dignity while enabling them to maximize their independence in a loving supportive atmosphere. My intention is to be diligent in assessing and fulfilling their needs and to make a contribution to their overall health and well being on a daily basis. I look forward to working closely with the residents and their families in a comfortable homelike environment.

Sean Coats, Executive Chef
Meet Sean Coats. Executive Chef. Chef of Culinary Operations.
Sean comes to the Stafford from a long tenure of the Restaurant
business. He started washing dishes at a pizzeria when he was fifteen
and has been working in the kitchen ever since. His training started
at age five when his Grandmother Phyllis began teaching him all of her
tried and true comfort food recipes. Cooking has always been his
passion and the payoff for him is the satisfaction of seeing someone
really enjoy the food that he has prepared for them. He lives in
West Linn with his wife Carol and children. Liam age ten and Brooklyn
age fifteen.
Katrina Coleman, Housekeeping Manager
I feel very fortunate to be the Director of Housekeeping here at the Stafford.
I was born and raised locally here in Oregon. Since my childhood I helped on my father's Alpaca farm, and I still enjoy working there on my day off. I love being around my family and friends, and I am extremely happy to be here.
Carey Dienhart, Life Enrichment Director
Connecting with people has been a part of my personality as long as I can remember, so interacting with the residents and staff at the Stafford is a favorite part of life for me!
My love for seniors goes back to my relationship with my grandparents and all their fun friends. I spent my childhood summers on a lake at "Rocky Point" and it is there that we talked around the campfire, played cards into the night and the parties they threw I still talk about! Just recently I reconnected with an old friend who is a Life Enrichment Director in Cordova Tennesee, I asked her what led her to that position, her reply was, "your grandmother Millie!"
I am native to Lake Oswego and I reside here with my husband Chip, daughter Tabitha, big rottweiler Mr. Bell (his real name is Tinkerbelle) and tiny Chihuahua Princess. I attended Aesthetics Institute to become a certified medical esthetician and prior to The Stafford I was at a five star spa. Being part of an experience where I partake in creating moments of joy for the residents truly elevates and impassions me to new levels!

Lucie Flood, Director of Vitality Center
I was born with dislocated hips, developed a serious scoliosis, and was expected a short life in a wheel chair. I beat the odds and believe that with good care and lots of support everyone has a chance no matter when and where they begin.
My background from the Czech Republic is in Public Health. I also taught English to children and adults in Prague and worked as translator. I have traveled extensively and lived in many countries throughout Europe and North America. In Canada I had a life-changing experience working with elderly and their families affected by Alzheimer.
I finally settled and grew to love Portland where I live with my two young children, dog, cat and fish. During my first pregnancy I met a wonderful teacher and a new style of yoga which has kept me in good health ever since. I took the training shortly after my daughter was born already expecting my son. I have been teaching this yoga for the last five years and have come to believe and experience that with good care and lots of support we can spring to overall wellness whenever and from wherever we are.

Joy Tallent-Bohrer, Concierge/Admin. Assistant
I'm so excited to be a part of the team here at the Stafford.
As concierge/administrative assistant I get to do my two favorite
things - visit and help others! I attended U of O and graduated from PSU with a BS in Arts & Letters, have taken courses in Art and Art Therapy at Marylhurst and have several years experience in the social services and working with seniors. I am also a Certified Medical Assistant. Please stop by the front desk to say "hi". You'll make my day!
